This is in response to the “Splat Your Tat” Post on RagamuffinSoul . This is my tattoo. In case you can’t read my arm in low res iphone format, it says “The Annointed”. I got this in memory of my younger sister. A little less than a year ago she tragically passed away in a car accident. Her name was Kristin and this is what her name means. If you have tattoos, why are they meaningful to you?

As someone who craves a little bit more diversity in a city that is not very diverse, I can truly appreciate this. Not only is it true, but its also hilarious.
This weekend Larissa and I took pictures for the cover of our debut album. Not really, but we sure felt like rock stars. Actually our wedding photographer got a new camera and wanted to try it out on us and give us some free pictures. Check out the rest of the pics here:
Recently I stumbled upon something that threatened to destroy my soon to be marriage. I discovered that my fiance, the woman I promised the rest of my life to, doesn’t even know my beverage of choice. She quickly remedied the situation by going out to and buying a 12-pack of my precious.
I was having my weekly meeting with my boss today and he wanted to discuss the time I was going to need off for the wedding and honeymoon. I have been saving my vacation time ever since I asked Larissa to marry me so I told him with confidence that I would be taking a week and half off for the whole deal. Thats when it hit me. He pulled out the ol’ outlook calendar. Today’s date and the date of the wedding are on the same page. We’re less than a month away. How the heck did that happen? Panic set in and I began running through my head all the things that needed to be done. I’m not sure how, but I know we’ll make it. We have to. Nothing will stop me from hanging out on the beach for a week. Muahahaha…
I haven’t had any blog worthy events… Lame. Really I have had tons going on, most of which probably shouldn’t be on the internet. I’m just so busy with work and this wedding deal, I haven’t had much inspiration.
In other news, I can’t wait to be married not only because I will be married to Larissa, but I will also be able to live in the dang house that I own. On that note I’ll post a picture of my awesome wife to be in my awesome house to be.
So why blog? I’m not sure really. I don’t plan to use this as some sort of internet diary, but recently I have become intrigued by blogging. To break up the monotony of work I have recently started checking out some popular blogs on a regular basis. Specifically:

These two blogs aren’t necessarily what I am going for but they do inspire me. Besides, I don’t think I could handle the popularity they have achieved. This will be a place for me to post things of interest as well as document some big events in my life. More to come
